ABOUT ALŽBĚTA:

Dr. Alžběta Solarczyk Krausová is the founder and CEO of RespectfulAI.com.

At the same time, she is the Head of the Center for Innovations and Cyberlaw Research (CICeRo) at the Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Chair of the Czech Republic’s AI Observatory & Forum, a founder and Chair of the SOLAIR Conference (Society, Law, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics), an external lecturer at the Charles University in Prague, and a member of the Appeal Commission at the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic.

Alžběta has acted as a member of the Expert Group on Liability and New Technologies at the European Commission, a member of OECD’s network of experts ONE AI, and a Czech expert in negotiating the UNESCO’s Draft Recommendation on Ethics of AI. She co-founded the platform Czech Women in AI. Her research focuses on ethical and legal aspects of artificial intelligence, robotics, brain-computer interfaces, and merging technology with organic life.

• Our EXPERT TALK takes place virtually, on Zoom.
• You’ll need the app installed on your computer. Using Zoom on a mobile device will significantly reduce your participation experience.
• The virtual doors open at 17:45 CET for informal chit-chat and warm-up.
• The session is recorded. Provided that you register for this event, you’ll have access to the video and audio recording afterward.
• Your full mental and emotional presence is required during the whole event. We invite you to have your camera on throughout to avoid interruptions or multitasking. This is an investment in yourself—respect your time.
