DECODING CO-ELEVATION WITH DORON AVRAHAM, PURE STORAGE

Welcome to our May ALLY TALK – this time with Doron Avraham, engineering manager with Pure Storage – Czechia. 

What needs to happen for more men to be willing to support women’s work, careers, leadership, and dreams in the workplace? What are men not knowing – or perhaps reluctant to hear? And what can we do together to empower men to see the real value cross-gender collaboration, co-creation, and co-elevation brings to us all?

This, and so much more, is the topic of our ALLY TALK with Doron Avraham, engineering manager with Pure Storage, a global company specizlied in data service management. Our talk takes place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 (18.00 to 19.30 CEST).

1. How Doron realized he might be biased towards women – and what kind of biases emerged when he engaged in deeper self-reflection.
2. What actions he undertakes in order to overcame gender bias – and what practical recommendations he has for other men.

ABOUT DORON:

With 15 years of experience in the tech industry, Doron evolved from a technical leader into a coach, mentor, and entrepreneur. Throughout his career, he has been driven by a passion for empowering people, whether by guiding teams in the corporate world, delivering hands-on skills training, or supporting individual growth and development.

Along this journey, Doron also discovered a deep commitment to gender equality and became an active advocate for allyship. He believes in the power of inclusive environments and is dedicated to empowering women, especially in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Doron is also the co-founder of FemmePulse (shebuilds.cz), a non-profit org focused on women’s empowerment through hands-on skills development and practical learning experiences.

Today, Doron combines his industry experience with advocacy work to help create spaces where everyone can thrive.

• Our ALLY TALK takes place virtually, on Zoom.
• You’ll need the app installed on your computer. Using Zoom on a mobile device will significantly reduce your participation experience.
• The virtual doors open at 17:45 CET for informal chit-chat and warm-up.
• The session is recorded. Provided that you register for this event, you’ll have access to the video and audio recording afterward.
• Your full mental and emotional presence is required during the whole event. We invite you to have your camera on throughout to avoid interruptions or multitasking. This is an investment in yourself—respect your time.
