Welcome to our May C-SUITE TALK – this time with Drahomíra Mandíková, Group Chief Sustainability Officer, Asahi Group Holdings – Japan.

How to grow as a woman leader from Central Europe into the global executive team of one of the largest beer groups in the world – Asahi Group Holdings? ABOUT DRAHOMÍRA:

Drahomíra MANDÍKOVÁ, the Group Chief Sustainability Officer with Asahi Group Holdings, is a purpose driven leader, mentor, corporate communication & reputation expert, and sustainability advocate.

As Group Chief Sustainability Officer in Asahi Group Holdings, Drahomíra is overseeing and implementing sustainability strategies and leading integration of sustainability into management. She has been engaged in sustainability for a number of years now, proactively driving the entrepreneurial sector towards greater sustainability, supporting diversity and inclusion and empowering female leaders.

Drahomíra studied economics and graduated in social work at the Comenius University in Slovakia. She spent the first years of her professional career as an economist in the banking sector.

For the last twenty-five years, she has worked in brewing, having started at Pilsner Urquell in Slovakia where she held the position of Corporate Affairs Manager and Member of the Supervisory Board. In 2010 she moved to Plzensky Prazdroj in Czechia as Corporate Affairs Director and in 2014 she went to India to manage relations with regulators, corporate communications and sustainable development at SABMiller India.

In 2017, she was promoted to the role of Chief Corporate Affairs Officer in the Asahi Europe and International where she has played a pivotal role in launching bold sustainability strategy, advancing corporate affairs capabilities, building company reputation and shaping regulatory environment to support business development.

Drahomíra Mandíková comes from Slovakia and is now based in Tokyo, Japan.

  • Our C-SUITE TALK takes place virtually, on Zoom.
  • You’ll need the app installed on your computer. Using Zoom on a mobile device will significantly reduce your participation experience.
